マタイ 18-15

「兄弟があなたに対して罪を犯したなら、言って二人だけのところで忠告しなさい。いうことを聞き入れたら、兄弟を得たことになる。聞き入れなければ、ほかに一人か二人、一緒に連れて行きなさい。すべてのことが、二人または三人の証人の口によって確定されるようになるためである。それでも聞き入れなければ、教会に申し出なさい。教会の言うことも聞き入れないなら、その人を異邦人か徴税人と同様に見なさい。

If your brother sins (against you), go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother. If he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, so that every fact may be established on the testimony of two or three witnesses. If he refused to listen to them, tell the church. If he refuses to listen even to the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector.

 

 はっきり言っておく。あなたがたが地上でつなぐことは、天上でも繋がれ、あなたがたが地上で解くことは、天上でも解かれる。また、はっきり言っておくが、どんな願い事であれ、あなたがたのうち二人が地上で心を一つにして求めるなら、わたしの天の父はそれをかなえてくださる。二人または三人が私の名によって集まるところには、私もその中にいるのである。

Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 

Again, (amen,) I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

その時ペトロがイエスのところに来て言った。

​「主よ、兄弟が私に対して罪を犯したなら、何回赦すべきでしょうか。七回までですか。」イエスは彼に言われた。「わたしは七たびまでとは言わない。七たびを七十倍するまでにしなさい。それだから、天国は王がしもべたちと決算をするようなものだ。決算が始まると、一万タラントの負債のあるものが、王のところに連れられてきた。しかし、返せなかったので、主人は、その人自身とその祭祀と持ち物全部とを売って返すように命じた。そこで、このしもべはひれ伏して哀願した、『どうぞお待ちください。全部お返しいたしますから』。

27その家来の主君はあわれに思って、彼をゆるし、その借金を帳消しにしてやった。28ところが、その家来は出て行くと、百デナリを貸しているひとりの仲間に出会い、彼をつかまえ、首をしめて『借金を返せ』と言った。29仲間はひれ伏し、『どうか待ってくれ。返すから』と言ってしきりに頼んだ。30しかし承知せずに、その人をひっぱって行って、借金を返すまで獄に入れた。31仲間たちは、この様子を見て、非常に心をいため、行ってそのことをのこらず主人に話した。32そこでこの主君はその家来を呼びつけて言った、『不届きな家来だ。お前が頼んだから、借金を全部帳消しにしてやったのだ。33わたしがあわれんでやったように、お前も自分の仲間をあわれんでやるべきではなかったか』。34そして主人は怒って、借金をすっかり返済してしまうまでと、家来を獄吏に引きわたした。35あなたがのひとりひとりが、もし心から兄弟をゆるさないならば、わたしの天の父もまたあなたがたに対して、同じようになさるであろう」。

'The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant.*

21 " Then Peter approaching asked him, "Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?" 22 Jesus answered, "I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times. 23 That is why the kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who decided to settle accounts with his servants. 24 When he began the accounting, a debtor was brought before him who owed him a huge amount. 25 Since he had no way of paying it back, his master ordered him to be sold, along with his wife, his children, and all his property; in payment of the debt. 26 At that, the servant fell down, did him homage, and said, `Be patient with me, and I will pay you back in full.' 27 Moved with compassion the master of that servant let him go and forgave him the loan. 28 When that servant had left, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a much smaller amount. He seized him and started to choke him, demanding, `Pay back what you owe.' 29 Falling to his knees, his fellow servant begged him, `Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.' 30 But he refused. Instead, he had him put in prison until he paid back the debt. 31 Now when his fellow servants saw what had happened, they were deeply disturbed, and went to their master and reported the whole affair. 32 His master summoned him and said to him, `You wicked servant! I forgave you your entire debt because you begged me to. 33 Should you not have had pity on your fellow servant, as I had pity on you?' 34 Then in anger his master handed him over to the torturers until he should pay back the whole debt.35 So will my heavenly Father do to you, unless each of you forgives his brother from his heart"
